ABGH is holding an event called The NEXUS: Nurturing, Excelling, and Unifying Sisters in Medicine Conference 2024 in in September 2024 in NYC. The conference is tailored to Black women in medicine across ALL specialities and disciplines. We will tackle how to mitigate and overcome obstacles specific to Black women in medicine while providing support, peer mentorship and affirmation, and personal and professional growth to a network of women that will help enrich the future of the medical field and benefit the patients they serve and the communities in which they reside.

The upcoming Alzheimer's Disease: Early Detection and Diagnosis Matter Health Care Professionals Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, November 5th, 2024. This conference will be held from 9am to 1pm EST at the New York Academy of Medicine.

The event aims to raise awareness and provide education for healthcare professionals, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing cognitive health in patient care. Our goal is to address contemporary healthcare issues and share insights while advocating for early, accurate diagnosis and treatment of cognitive issues, including Alzheimer's and related dementias. The conference will feature panel discussions with seasoned industry professionals, facilitating invaluable discourse on these critical matters.
